Police have arrested a non-custodial parent following an hours long SWAT situation on the city’s southwest side.
Nathaniel Bowling took Jaxson Willey and Kylynne Bowling from their home around 12 p.m. Wednesday.
He had said he was heading to Florida but police were called to a home on South Lyons Street Thursday night.
After several hours of negotiations, Nathaniel Bowling and the children emerged from the home.
The children were unharmed.
The 31-year-old was arrested for criminal confinement and violation of custody order.

Police are searching for two Indianapolis children who have been abducted by a non-custodial parent.
